The mission of Take a Walk In My Shoes Too Foundation is to uplift and empower underserved communities-including veterans, individuals with disabilities, and at-risk families, walking alongside them with compassion, advocacy, and guidance. Our goal is to provide access to vital resources, referrals, and educational opportunities that enable individuals and families to:

Join us on Saturday, June 20, 2026, as Take A Walk In My Shoes Too Foundation and Janie's Hands Transitional Housing for Veterans come together to honor those who have served our country in a special Juneteenth Celebration. From 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, we'll gather at the Chancery Market, 1313 N. Market Street, Wilmington, DE 19801, for an afternoon of community, gratitude, and remembrance. This event is free and open to all; bring your family, friends, and neighbors, and help us celebrate freedom while recognizing the veterans who have made it possible.
